MONDAY NOV 26TH, 2012

Good morning...as of 9am...another 5 inches of snow leading to a MEADOW-morphosis of the fields..getting close to a foot of snow on the ground over the last 3 days here at Orr Lake....it takes at least 3 coffees for my snow-blower to start. Glad to see at least one Toronto team (argos) can win something> Good for them. A lot of people don't care anymore as the Americanization of Canada continues. Today is Cyber Monday, traditional beginning of the online Christmas shopping season. Today is National Don't Utter A Word Day, a reminder to talkers that listeners usually get tired of listening long before talkers get tired of talking....1864: Oxford University math instructor Charles Dodgson sent an early Christmas message to the daughter of a friend, 12-year-old Alice Liddell. It was a handwritten story entitled "Alices Adventures Underground." We know the story as "Alice In Wonderland" and the author by his pen-name, Lewis Carroll. In 1989...United Way workers in Prince George, British Columbia, assembled the world's largest jigsaw puzzle. The 9,739-square-foot puzzle had 1,085 pieces... Rocker Tina Turner turns 74 today. If you're not familiar with Tina's delivery, just imagine Aretha Franklin strapped to a paint shaker...they may do a movie on her called...MUTINY ON THE BOOTY. THIS is the first SNOW JOB in weeks that hasn't come from the Government Have a great day...mornin' everybody. .
