NOVEMBER 7TH 2012
2 states legalized recreational marijuana...it'll take all 50 states to go that way to be Happy at the end of the next 4 years.
Today is 4 Term Day IN THE U.S, marking election day in 1944 when Frankin Roosevelt became the first and only person elected to a 4th term as U.S. president. President Roosevelt died only 53 days into his 4th term, and Vice-President Harry Truman assumed the Presidency.
1965: The Pillsbury Dough Boy debuted in television commercials....I think his name was "poppin Fresh Pete"....don't tickle his Tummy
Jeanette Rankin of Montana became the first woman elected to the U.S. Congress on this date in 1916. They put in a special ladies room for her, but she never used it because she didn't have anybody to go with her.....I always thought there was a teeter toter in the womens.
This day in 1885 was a great day for Canada when the CPR RAIL line was completed. Before that, it took forever to take a train across Canada. And it was really bumpy.
The Great Revolution began in Russia on this date in 1917.IF IT HADN'T BEEN SUCH A BLOODY TIME THEY COULD HAVE DUBBED IT PLEASE DON'T SQUEEZE THE CZAR-MEN.
and finally...The Dow Jones Industrial Average sold off heavily Wednesday morning, falling by as much as 369 points before closing down 312.95 points, or 2.36 per cent. I GUESS THAT IS GEORGE BUSH'S FAULT MR. PRESIDENT.
