grey morning to greet us..back in 1979 we had a bit of snowy one going with about 20 cms of snow in the Midland and Orillia areas...in 1983 gas was 45.9 cents and Gold was selling for 400 an ounce...prime at the banks was way up at 11%. Today is National Mousseless Day, a day to just let your hair do its own thing. 1958: Coed Records released "16 Candles" by the Crests.....1982: Michael Jackson's "Thriller," one of the most popular albums of all time, was released. 2002: A shoplifter who stuffed a frozen chicken drumstick down his underpants was caught because he couldn't stop hopping around at a supermarket in Saronno, Italy. A cashier spotted the 25-year-old man "bouncing about and adjusting himself" repeatedly. A security guard held the man for police, with the evidence in his pants...it was the first instance of Chicken on a BUM. Jonathan Swift was born on this date in 1667. He wrote Gilligan's Travels.
