Mornin'....where has all the snow gone...just a few outcroppings left around here..but back in 1980 on this date we had a heck of a big storm with winds up to 90 kmh and drifts up to a foot...highs near minus 11 and lows of minus 17...in 1982 it was a record high day in Toronto with a 19.9 celsius (we were near 18)..it was the 5th day in a row of Indian summer.
1965: Keith Richards was electrocuted and knocked unconscious during a Rolling Stones concert in Sacramento....thats why he looks so shocking.
Charles Pillsbury was born on this date in 1842. He founded the largest flour mill in the world, and the company now honors his memory with a fat little naked dough boy. Mr. Pillsbury is probably rolling over in his flour sack...what was his name?
On this day in 1967 Dr. Christian Barnard completed the world's first heart transplant, making Tony Bennett's "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" a possibility.
MUCH BETTER THAN "I LEFT MY TUMMY TO SOME OLD RUMMEY"
CHRISTMAS and overeating go hand-in-hand...TIS THE SEASON TO BE JOWLEY.
morning everybody...
