in 1966 The Beach Boys released the LP "Pet Sounds" which barely made the top 10 on the charts but is since regarded as their best. It included "God only Knows"considered by many as the best love songs ever.
IN 1982 The New York Islanders won their 3rd Straight Stanley Cup on this date. The won their 4th a year later.
In 1986 Bobby Ewing came back from the dead on the TV show Dallas, after Dieing a year earlier. He was only in the shower all that time and it was just a bad dream for all of us. He should have come back singing "A white Sport Coat and a Reincarnation" I guess.
In 1990 Jim Henson died at age 53 and Sammy Davis Junior at 64 on the very same day. It was a bad day for the entertainment world for sure.

Canuck comedy guy Kevin McDonald is 52 (co-founder of The Kids in the Hall) Jack Morris of Baseball fame is 58.
The Billboard Music Awards will be coming up this Sunday night with lots of Canadian content and there will be lots of New faces on hand.....same People just different Faces!
